D-Comp

Organic Soil Enhancer

D-Comp improves soil structure and nutrient retention by providing beneficial microorganisms, organic matter, and humus. It increases Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) and helps buffer soil pH.

What Does It Do?

D-Comp is designed to degrade organic matter and fibrous plant compounds through the use of over 65 different strains of bacteria and fungi. It effectively accelerates the breakdown of manure piles and crop residues, aiding in transforming organic material into forms beneficial for plant growth. By breaking down complex compounds, D-Comp enhances nutrient availability and boosts soil health throughout the growing season. It also reduces nitrogen volatilization, improves nutrient retention, and minimizes manure odors.

Microbial Power at Work

D-Comp employs natural biochemical processes similar to those found in undisturbed ecosystems like forests. Microscopic fungi strip lignin from the fiber molecule, followed by other fungi and bacteria that break down cellulose, pectin, and xylans into simpler sugars. These sugars are further utilized by microorganisms, generating organic acids that are then sequestered by photosynthetic bacteria and fed to living plants. This cycle effectively enhances nutrient uptake, much like converting corn stalks to ethanol but in a natural, soil-based context.

When applied with manure, D-Comp also targets proteins, starches, fats, and fiber that pass through animals. The microbial action reduces particle size, eases application, and significantly minimizes odor, making manure easier to manage and more beneficial as a soil amendment.

D-Comp is Easy to Apply

D-Comp can be applied through standard agricultural equipment. Use it at the start of the season in spring or throughout the growing season until the soil becomes too cold. Whether enhancing soil structure or accelerating organic matter decomposition, D-Comp’s versatility makes it an essential addition to your soil management toolkit.

Application Details
Apply D-Comp at the recommended rate per acre (see attached product guide for specific dosages). It may be tank mixed with fertilizers; always check compatibility prior to mixing. Store out of direct sunlight and below 100°F. For best results, check compatibility before mixing with pesticides or fungicides.
